Caroline: Montgomery County


Over 18000 people with developmental disabilities and their families in Maryland need help and appeal to the state to end their wait for services & support. This is one family’s story.

    The problem is nationwide – In Colorado, we have over 9,000 on the wait list – 1,550 in our region alone (Pikes Peak region). We are 6th in the nation for income; 46th in the nation for supporting people with these services. Developmental disabilities have dropped off the radar screen of the social conscience – thank you for doing something to bring it back!

    Great video-sad commentary on the state of MD in supporting people with developmental disabilities. Let’s hope MD’s policymakers and the Gov. WAKE up and DO SOMETHING!!!!
