I am a Bayada nurse, and the little girl reminds me of one of our clients.
The problem is nationwide – In Colorado, we have over 9,000 on the wait list – 1,550 in our region alone (Pikes Peak region). We are 6th in the nation for income; 46th in the nation for supporting people with these services. Developmental disabilities have dropped off the radar screen of the social conscience – thank you for doing something to bring it back!
This is a great video and message let hope that a lot more people view this and help to make more services available.
Great video-sad commentary on the state of MD in supporting people with developmental disabilities. Let’s hope MD’s policymakers and the Gov. WAKE up and DO SOMETHING!!!!
i agree, both girls are amazing. Lets make this dream a reality today.
Wonderful video–wonderful girls, both of them! This a real issue that so many families are dealing with. I hope Caitlin and Caroline’s dreams all come true.
