Just outside the city limits of Houston, Texas, about 30 to 45 minutes north, is beautiful Montgomery County. It has always been a getaway for many Houston area and surrounding residents. With the beautiful Lake Conroe, fishing and camping sites are always in demand, and in peak holiday seasons, it has been said it is hard to find a camp site if you don’t get there first.
Now there are thriving new master-planned communities springing up, with all the added comforts that were not once available outside the city. There are nearby malls and shopping centers, restaurants, parks, recreation and golf courses, of which The Woodlands is most noted nationally as one of the best golf courses.
With some of the best new places to live in Conroe, whether on the lake or surrounding area, it is in demand. Top home sales in Conroe are expected, as any new home builder in Houston Texas is stretching to the north, to take advantage of the expected growth and demand for new homes.
There is freshness in the community. Conservation of the beautiful, long-existing piney woods is a priority. Beautiful towering pine forests in the area surround the landscape. Montgomery County new homes are being built within the pines and conserving much of the landscape. Added appeal for families looking to get out of the major cities is choosing some of the best schools in Texas. And Montgomery County has some of the best and smaller schools compared to the inner cities.
One of the best new places to live in Conroe is any of these master-planned communities. If you listen to the baby boomers, many Houstonians are talking about Conroe as an option and plan for a retirement community. It’s no wonder, it is peaceful and everything needed is within a few miles. It is a respite from the hustle of the big city and a much-needed retreat to a restful community.
Everything needed can be found in these communities, hospitals, the best schools in Texas, community centers, recreation, parks, festivals and more. Conroe new homes for now are going up and there is a number of choices and price ranges. Houstonians know that the trend as the population increases or residents are relocating is that, after an area is developed, it is hard to find what you want since most properties have been previously bought.
Take a trip out to the scenic highways of Montgomery County and see for yourself. You’ll fall in love. No other state in the nation has the diverse changing terrain and landscape within its borders as Texas. Remember there is a saying here, “Texas is a country all by itself”.
